KMD2590 Waiting to Sing (birds, waxwing, nature, original oil painting





With spring almost here I am now hearing symphonies of the birds singing. I don't even listen to my music while walking my dog in preference to the music of these great creatures announcing the arrival of spring.
I have been challenged by my painting partner on this painting as to whether this is a finished piece. Let me know your vote and I will tell you ours!

    I quite like the gestural look of this...I am the worse for telling whether a painting is "done"..so no advice from me..the bird is well done!!!! (no pun intended)

    I like it... I think it's simple and well done.

    The only reason I would question whether it was finished is the pencil marks (dividing the panel in half vertically and horizontally) .... otherwise, if you think it's finished... it's finished.
