Poppies are universal and found everywhere I travel. It seems I do most of my traveling in the spring as I have sooooo many pictures of poppies to work with. These were found in Telluride, Colorado a few years ago while on a trip with my travel and photographer friend Pat. You will be seeing more paintings from that trip as the area around Telluride is a paradise of natural and awesome beauty.
