Doing daily paintings gives me the opportunity to explore so much of my reference materials with a broad spectrum of subjects. This painting is a scene seen found one morning while in Tuscany in Italy with my studio partners John Harrell and Anita Mosher. We painted for our second anniversary show from the pictures we took on this trip. Of course Italy provides a lifetime of painting ideas and this is only one. There will be more!
