Here is a more abstract interpretation of some beautiful and vibrant sunlit Iris that I photographed and then painted last week. It has been a late spring here with lower than average temperatures and everything seems to be blooming later than usual. I loved the colors of these Iris and had a great time doing a looser interpretation of them than usual.
