There seems to be a renewed interest in my poppies which of course I love to paint. Perhaps as winter comes on and our surroundings succumb to the duller colors of winter (until the snow flies that is) it is nice to have the reminder of the colorful days of summer. It is for me as I look through my reference for subject matter to paint.
