KMD2384 Essence of Summer

There is something just visually exciting about the bright cheery Black Eyed Susans nestled in a sea of purple. Nature's flowers never cease to amaze me which is probably why I keep painting them, knowing I can do them justice but never be as rich as mother nature makes them.

Lovely, Kit! I keep seeing Black-eyed Susans here in New England and know I should be painting them before they're gone. When the sun shines on them, I think they look electric. You've captured that perfectly.
