KMD2421 Montana Light (Landscape, barn, oil painting, Montana)

SOLD

I took another break from China and painted this scene that I found in Montana several summers ago. The afternoon light was exquisite as the sun started down leaving long, warm shadows. I have painted this scene many times as it always takes me back to an incredible moment that was shared with my friend and fellow photographer Pat!
6"x6" unframed original oil on gessoed board
$100.00 + $10.00 shipping and handling

I know, I have a weakness towards landscapes like this. Everything is VERY SIMPLE: barns and a field of wheat, two fundamental colors with a great variety of subtones. Yet, it is exactly because of this simplicity the great serenity is achieved that attracts us in this painting.
