KM2184 Country Laundry
SOLD
I seem to be time traveling, for now I am back in England, in the Cotswolds. My friend Pat introduced me to the little village of Chipping Campden where she and I stayed a few days several years back. The town is absolutely charming and we loved wandering into the countryside as well. In wandering the outskirts of the village I found this nostalgic scene of laundry drying on the line. Why is European laundry so romantic?
5"x7" unframed original oil on gessoed board
$100.00 + $10.00 shipping and handling

Hi Kit. Hope you are enjoying the Costswolds - they are beautiful aren't they. I love the washing line painting. So fresh and alive. My cousin from Canada when she visits thinks it is hilarious and asks "Can I put the washing on the line?". Don't people do that in N. America?
