Spring is really here, early this year getting me into the floral mode for painting. I was struggling for a title for this painting to do it justice so I looked up the definition of crimson to find the word Razzmatazz and loved the way it rolls off the tongue. Perfect! I loved the very deep rich reds and crimsons in this beautiful poppy and challenged myself to paint it in acrylic!
