Sometimes I don't know why I decide to paint what I do, something just speaks to me and off I go. One day as I was contemplating my blank canvas I came across a photo of this powerful moose and just felt the need to paint him or her as the case may be. Perhaps it is just a warm up for the show we are going to host at Brushstrokes that will be all animal paintings for First Friday in October.
