This painting was done from an fleeting moment captured in Utah just on our way out of Dead Horse Point at days end with my dear friend Pat. I loved the way the last light just lit up a few points on the mesas before disappearing into evening. Such a magical moment to share with a good friend and now as a permanent painting in oil.

It has been such a busy year that I haven't posted in months. I have been spending a lot of time experimenting with abstraction.
