KMD2580 Just Grazing (calf, cow, New Zealand, pastural, original oil painting)

I just couldn't stray too far from my latest animal passion. Who knows why I feel compelled to paint a subject but when it speaks to me I know I best go for it while I am excited about it for tomorrow it might be something totally different. Perhaps it is because I am a Gemini! This little fellow was photographed several years ago when my husband and I visited New Zealand, a wonderful, memorable journey.

Kit, I am so glad you are listening (to your inner voice) because I sure am looking - and loving what I see!

I agree, I love farm animals. In fact I'd take a cow, pig, chicken or sheep over a squirrel, alligator, wildebeest or kangaroo any day! OK, I do like lions, monkeys and rabbits!
