KMD2470 Stacked (Still life, original oil, eggplant)

For our upcoming show, "Identity Theft" at Brushstrokes Studio-Gallery opening this Friday, each of has been challenged to paint each other's subject matter. I drew Anita Mosher's name and have been painting her specialty of still life and roosters. I will be posting them on my website: kithevronmahoney.
I did this little painting of eggplant after painting a larger still life with lemons and eggplant. Eggplant is not something I have much in my diet but it is so luscious and rich in color that it is a perfect still life subject.

5"x7" unframed original oil
$100.00 + $10.00 shipping and handling

Lovely eggplant, Kit. And, they are delicious too.

Thanks Carol,
I sent them home with my studio partner John Harrell who I know cooked up something delicious with his great culinary skills!

Love the painterly look of your eggplants. Nice brush work, and the highlights sparkle.
